One of the capitals of fashion, food and entertainment, Ginza is definitely a district to visit when in Japan!
One of the first places I got to see when first arriving in Japan, walking through the streets at night reminded me of the movies I’d seen of New York’s Times Square. Bright lights and bustling streets was something completely new to me and I felt consumed by excitement!
One of the days we were staying in Tokyo, Rita and I decided to tour around Ginza, shop at some of the more affordable stores and stare longingly in to the more high end stores like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Coach, Hermes…the list goes on! To start the day off, we enjoyed a coffee at Le Cafe Doutor which was situated above a gorgeous flower market. A very attractive street corner indeed!
From there we visited stores like H&M, Zara, UniQlo (biggest UniQlo store in the world). Walking through the hustle and bustle of the busy, well dressed men and women we passed art works, and stages that were alive with music making it quite an experience walking through this vibrant city!
To end off our walk, we visited a very cute restaurant that looked like it had been cut out of a page in an Italian magazine. I had a pizza and Rita a pasta and together we indulged in some red wine.
Definitely worth the visit, just make sure your wallet is full!
